Course Content
This paddler centred course is designed to help you develop a solid set of skills on grade 2(3) rivers. We will take time to discus where you are at with you paddling, what you would like to work on and any goals you have. This enables us to fully tailor our coaching to give you the best possible course. Depending on where we are based and river levels we will paddle rivers such as the; Tay, Ness, Oich, Arkaig, Lochy, Teith and many more...
The sort of topics that we might cover:
Developing good WW foundations, skills & maneuvers
River reading
Picking and hitting lines
Tactics to utilise the waters energy
Mindset techniques & anxiety control
Increasing your confidence and independence
Exploring ways to play the river
At the end of each day we will review your learning and help you create an action plan to maximise your future progression. You will leave with an enhanced toolkit of skills to work on to increase your confidence, control and enjoyment of kayaking!
Requirements
For the Grade 2 paddler who may/ may not have some experience of Grade 3. A reliable flat water roll.
You will need all of your own equipment, transport & accommodation (if required) for this course.
